Last Question:
What do Babe Ruth, Wilt Chamberlin, Walter Payton, Jackie Robinson, Byron Nelson and Joe Louis all have in common?

They are all dead. For the rest of the answer and to find out why this happened please turn this over and read the back.

These legendary athletes all experienced death, just like you will someday, regardless of how healthy, rich or famous you are. The Bible says that “man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). The Bible also tells us the reason that people die: “The soul who sins is the one who will die” (Ezekiel 18:4). To sin means to violate God’s Laws, the Ten Commandments, and we have all done this (Romans 3:23, I John 3:4). Let’s see if you have sinned and deserve death.

Answer the following questions honestly and listen to your conscience. Have you ever lied? Have you ever stolen anything, irrespective of its value? Jesus said, “I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28). Have you ever looked at someone with lust? The Bible says that if someone hates another person they are a murderer (I John 3:15). Have you ever hated anyone? If you have answered “Yes” to these questions then you have admitted that you are a liar, a thief, an adulterer and a murder at heart, and we’ve only looked at four of the Ten Commandments. If God were to judge you by this standard would you be innocent or guilty? You know you would be guilty and deserve eternal punishment in hell. Even though you deserve punishment, God doesn’t want that to happen. Do you understand why Jesus came to earth, died and rose from the grave on the third day? He died a criminal’s death not because He had broken the Law, but because you have. Romans 5:8 “…God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God loves you so much that He sent Jesus to take the punishment for your sins so you could be forgiven (John 3:16).

What should you do? Pray to God and speak from your heart. Confess your sins to God (be specific), then repent, turn from your sins and put your complete faith in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation. Then begin to read your Bible daily and obey what you read. You should do this today because you may not have tomorrow! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
