Even though you deserve punishment, God doesn’t want that to happen. Do you understand why Jesus came to earth, died and rose from the grave on the third day? He died a criminal’s death not because He had broken the Law, but because you have. Romans 5:8 “…God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God loves you so much that He sent Jesus to take the punishment for your sins so you could be forgiven (John 3:16).

What should you do? Pray to God and speak from your heart. Confess your sins to God (be specific), then repent, turn from your sins and put your complete faith in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation.
